How Do I Stop Worrying?

The last couple of years there has always seemed to be something going on in my life that would cause me to wake up at 3 in the morning worrying and fretting over what to do, what was going to happen, how I was going to fix something etc.etc.

Now for the first time in a very long time all the cosmic fields are level, karma is good, the goddess is pleased with me and I have no worries!!!

But my body ie: internal alarm clock, hasn't gotten the message. So I still wake up and lie there searching all the cracks and crevices of my mind looking for something, anything to worry about.

Please please give me advice and tips on making this stop!

one suggestion would be to do some vigorous workout during the day..this would get your body tired...

have you thought about acupuncture? helps me with my anxiety and tension...

It's important to remember there is nothing in this universe that can be helped by worrying
but FAR more important to forgive yourself for sliding back into it! Forgiveness breaks the cycle!
      Love~

I don't know, this is just a thought, instead of trying to fix yourself why not do something really fun during those hours of the morning. I have often meditated. It's one of the best times because there's so much stillness. You could have a bubble bath, watch a romantic comedy, paint, read, put your headphones on a dance in the moonlight.

Maybe it's not a problem, maybe it's just an opportunity to reset your energetic space at the vibration of joy or love or amusement or whatever you want.

Breathe very slowly and deliberately. When the thoughts come, slow them down to match your breath.

You could be speaking for me. I do the same thing. It is a hard to break habit. I find it is better on days when I can fit in time for meditation. (The type where you try to empty your mind of all thoughts.) All so an appreciation diary helps me when I remember to do it. Every day you think of something you are grateful for and write it in your appreciation diary, Then you spend a little time really trying to feel how lucky you are to have what you appreciate. It can be any thing. Running water. Paper to write on. A fire to keep you warm. People who love you. Etc.

        Hope this helps

        Sweet dreams

these days i have to be heavily medicated to get to sleep at all, lol.
still is difficult to sleep through the night tho...
(due to a car accident end of last year).
i am going to start going for some hypnosis.
i had some other counselling but it didnt help.
healing touch seemed to take the edge off a bit.
acupuncture might be worth a try.

i had a similar problem...every night at around 3:30AM i'd wake up and brood and brood until about 5:30...this went on for about 3 years...I had done a series of karma clearing ceremonies for the spirit of my grand mother who died the same night this problem began....after the end of the ceremonies, that, among other symptoms i was dealing with disappeared. For 2 years now, a close friend of mine has been waking up at around 2am every single night, in a panic, thinking she 's late for work....it started around the same time a close cousin of hers died suddenly in his sleep....i told her about these ceremonies that she can do, but she thinks it won't change anything...but i think ancestral influence is an area to consider for not only sleep problems but many health issues....one problem is so few people understand this and it's very hard to come across a person or organization that does this kind of thing.
another thing that might help is to give up your worries to the creator...creatress?.....and try to let go of control, knowing that all things are taken care of with or without you....it's all okay...
