Re: I hate my job
Thu, March 6, 2008 - 10:52 AMtake a risk, do something new...it's ok to detach from normalcy or comfort zones..
what is your dream? what do you think would make you happy or give you satisfaction?
maybe you can go to school part time or take a course in something you love...that way you don't have to quit your job and the same time test new avenues...
best of luck to you,

Re: I hate my job
Fri, March 21, 2008 - 10:56 AMWhen I started to hate my job, I found a different one. Turns out that one wasn't right for me either, but then I applied for something totally different than anything I had ever done before. I had no experience, but they hired me anyway. And guess what!!
I NOW HAVE A JOB THAT I LOVE!!
I just had to take a chance and leave my "comfortable" world.
Good luck! -

Sat, March 29, 2008 - 12:05 PMi think it can sometimes help to have something else in your life that you really enjoy.
take dance lessons, learn how to dj, volunteer, take a course that might lead to a new job...
just some thoughts.
good luck.

Re: I hate my job
Wed, April 2, 2008 - 3:47 PMTake a deep breathe.
Relax completely.
Be some place beautiful, exquisite if possible.
Imagine that you are right, that nothing is wrong,
because you know something no one else does,
you are on the verge of creating your next miracle,
just the way you created that last incredible miracle.
Why not,
you've done it before.
Remember?

Re: I hate my job
Fri, April 4, 2008 - 3:17 AMever heard of being grateful for the job you have even though it's not the one you want at all, being able to effect the next job you take. hate can lead us into more hate or different types of hate
Go for what you want in life but also practice grattitude for the ability to pay bills in your current job.
Practice focusing on what you do love - take some risks to get there and ride out the waves of fear that come with doing something new.
I recently changed from being a welder to a sales role in a health club...took a 20K per year pay cut...and it's been challenging and scary at times and I'm not a hundred percent comfortable yet.....no job is perfect....the trick is to strike good work/life balance..Only you can make it happen and it may take some years as life is always changing and therefore requires some maintenance.
The thing that keeps me happy is knowing why I'm in the job - in my case it's because I truly love helping people with their health & fitness goals.....
When you knoy the "why" in your life then you'll be much closer to knowing "what" job to do...
Good luck! -
